By accessing or using the Nourva mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Nourva is a pregnancy nutrition tracking application that helps expectant mothers monitor their nutritional intake, track meals, and receive personalized nutrition recommendations.
IMPORTANT: Nourva is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider about any questions regarding your pregnancy, nutrition, or medical conditions.
You must create an account to use Nourva. You agree to:
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to share your login credentials with others.
Nourva offers a 7-day free trial of Premium features. After the trial period, you will be charged the subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and will automatically renew unless cancelled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings (iOS App Store or Google Play Store). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android) according to their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly.
You agree NOT to:
All content in the App, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Nourva and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You retain ownership of the data you input into the App (meal logs, photos, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a license to use this data solely to provide and improve our services.
Nourva provides nutritional information and tracking tools but does not provide medical advice. The App:

If you experience a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately. Do not rely on the App for urgent medical situations.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOURVA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
The App may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Supabase, Google Gemini AI). We are not responsible for the performance, privacy practices, or content of these third parties.
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and data. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If unsuccessful, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration.
